I like to describe this brief documentary as a journey! I had never heard of the Montagnard Dega people and was immediately drawn to learn more about these fascinating people and their story. It reminds me that many of the people of the world share similar stories. It resonates in different languages, in different geographic locations but as a people we are not so different. I found very little information on the forced sterilization of the Montagnard women. I wanted to learn more! Although my research reached a stand still, I decided to focus on the possible reasons why this and other injustices occur. My hope is to inspire future research and interest on the topic.
